Information Security / IT Security Consultant

Responsibilities

• ▹Advise on information security based on BSI standards (IT-Grundschutz 200 series)
• ▹Support the setup of security management, process, and change management structures
• ▹Advise on creating security concepts, protection-needs analyses, and risk analyses
• ▹Perform IT-Grundschutz checks and guide their implementation
• ▹Support risk management with realistic risk assessment and prioritization
• ▹Work closely with and moderate technical discussions among stakeholders

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience in information security / IT security
• ▹Excellent knowledge of BSI standards (200 series) and their methodology
• ▹Structured, analytical, solution-oriented approach with strong communication and consulting skills

Nice to have

• ▹BSI-Grundschutzpraktiker certification
• ▹Experience modeling IT networks with tools such as HiScout or verinice
• ▹Knowledge of BSI-Standard 200-4, BCM/business continuity management, NIS2
• ▹Process/change management and project management experience
• ▹Experience in the public sector
