Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Own technical design and execution for major products and systems
• ▹Design scalable, reliable systems across backend, frontend, APIs and infrastructure
• ▹Build alongside the team through coding, prototyping, code reviews and debugging
• ▹Drive architecture decisions and trade-offs across speed, scalability and cost
• ▹Turn ambiguous product problems into clear technical solutions
• ▹Raise engineering quality through testing, security and observability practices
• ▹Lead technically critical initiatives and mentor engineers across teams

Requirements

• ▹7+ years of software engineering experience building production systems
• ▹Deep expertise in backend, frontend, distributed systems, APIs or cloud infrastructure
• ▹Strong system design and architecture skills for high-scale systems
• ▹Strong coding ability and willingness to remain hands-on
• ▹Track record of leading major engineering projects from design to production
• ▹Ability to make sound technical trade-offs and solve complex problems
• ▹Strong English communication skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience scaling engineering teams or systems through significant growth
• ▹Experience operating across multiple products, markets or countries
