Responsibilities

• ▹Own medium-to-complex technical initiatives from design through operations
• ▹Act as directly responsible individual, align stakeholders, identify risks
• ▹Lead technical design for distributed storage, performance, reliability
• ▹Partner with Git, Infrastructure, SRE and customer-facing teams
• ▹Improve engineering practices via mentoring, docs, code reviews
• ▹Take operational ownership: incident response, capacity and performance analysis

Requirements

• ▹Experience designing distributed systems and storage architectures
• ▹Understanding of Git internals and repository management
• ▹Operational experience: incident response, monitoring, capacity planning
