Cyber Security Expert

Responsibilities

• ▹Support embedded software projects for construction, agricultural and municipal machinery throughout the full software lifecycle
• ▹Ensure compliance with cyber security standards ISO 21434, IEC 62443 and EU directives CRA 2024/2847 and RED 2014/53/EU
• ▹Conduct cyber security vulnerability and threat analyses as well as risk assessments (TARA)
• ▹Derive new concepts and requirements from attack analyses, drive improvements to development processes
• ▹Act as point of contact for project teams and support knowledge transfer on cyber security within HYDAC Software GmbH

Requirements

• ▹Completed university degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering (Master's/Diplom)
• ▹Solid experience in machine development or a comparable role
• ▹Knowledge of cyber security standards ISO 21434, IEC 62443 and EU directives CRA 2024/2847, RED 2014/53/EU
• ▹Very good German and English skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with vehicle connectivity technologies, telemetry interfaces and network technologies (Ethernet/TCP/IP/CAN)
• ▹Experience creating cyber security concepts using access and encryption technologies
