Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build and maintain scalable distributed backend systems
• ▹Own backend services end-to-end
• ▹Collaborate with product and engineering peers to shape product decisions
• ▹Scope solutions together with clients building on the API
• ▹Build and evolve Web3 platform backend components
• ▹Ensure code quality, performance, security and observability
• ▹Use AI daily as a core part of the engineering workflow
• ▹Contribute to technical discussions, reviews and mentorship

Requirements

• ▹5+ years designing and building distributed backend systems
• ▹Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures and design patterns
• ▹Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
• ▹Strong desire to actively contribute to product evolution
• ▹Comfortable working directly with customers
• ▹Hands-on, daily use of AI in engineering work
• ▹High standards for code quality, reliability and user experience
• ▹Strong ownership mindset
• ▹Clear, proactive communication in a distributed team
• ▹Ability to learn quickly and adapt
• ▹Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• ▹Experience with SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases
• ▹Familiarity with monitoring tools: Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana
• ▹Hands-on AWS experience
• ▹Experience with Python 3

Nice to have

• ▹Hands-on Golang experience
• ▹Web3 experience: blockchain systems, dApps, smart contracts
• ▹Prior experience in a startup environment emphasizing trust and autonomy
• ▹Time zone close to Europe for smoother collaboration
