Backend Developer, Generative AI

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Python
• ▹Design event-driven workflows using AWS Step Functions
• ▹Integrate LLMs using AWS Bedrock
• ▹Manage AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora/Postgres, S3)
• ▹Design and build large-scale, high-availability systems
• ▹Work with microservices and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)
• ▹Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers and data scientists

Requirements

• ▹3-5 years of backend software engineering experience
• ▹At least 2 years of hands-on AWS experience
• ▹Python proficiency
• ▹Hands-on expertise with AWS Step Functions and event-driven architecture
• ▹Strong knowledge of core AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora/Postgres, S3)
• ▹Proven ability to design large-scale, high-availability systems
• ▹Experience with microservices and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)

Nice to have

• ▹Experience integrating LLMs with AWS Bedrock
• ▹Practical experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks
• ▹Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming systems
• ▹Proficiency with AWS observability tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray)
• ▹Background building complex AI-driven workflows
• ▹Track record in production-grade systems within regulated industries
