Technical Product Owner – External Integrations

Responsibilities

• ▹Understand current capabilities, collect and prioritize tasks from global business units, and craft a long-term strategy and roadmap to grow the digital channel
• ▹Provide technical experience and industry best practices for engaging with external organizations via digital integration channels
• ▹Bring a strong technical understanding of modern integration methods, platforms, and API-first data exchange to drive the strategic vision
• ▹Own and prioritize the external-API product roadmap and backlog across distributor and partner requests, balancing reliability, reuse, cost, and business value
• ▹Drive modernization from a pull-only to a push + pull, event-driven model with the integration and platform teams
• ▹Sequence and coordinate cross-team dependencies across integration, architecture, data, and security teams
• ▹Define and report external-API KPIs — organizations onboarded, transaction throughput, and SLA adherence
• ▹Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and epics to meet customer and business needs

Requirements

• ▹B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• ▹Min. 7 years of experience as an analyst, project manager, engineer, BRM, or program lead on moderate to highly complex technology projects and programs
• ▹API product management knowledge: REST APIs, API gateway
