1st Line SOC Analyst

Responsibilities

• ▹Monitor and analyze alerts on the SIEM platform
• ▹Ensure incidents and alerts are handled per established processes
• ▹Escalate events to the 2nd Line Security Analyst
• ▹Maintain and regularly review SOC work instructions
• ▹Uphold consistency in security concepts, tools and best practices
• ▹Work day, evening and night shifts

Requirements

• ▹At least 1 year of experience in IT or equivalent education
• ▹Structured, ambitious, critically minded approach
• ▹Holistic perspective, ability to work with many stakeholders
• ▹Clear, professional verbal and written communication

Nice to have

• ▹Experience assessing vulnerabilities and security incidents
• ▹Knowledge of security scanners, SIEM systems, IDS
• ▹Experience in threat intelligence
