Responsibilities

• ▹Build, launch, and maintain high-quality Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts using Liquid and modern JavaScript.
• ▹Develop reusable Online Store 2.0 sections, theme components, and custom storefront functionality.
• ▹Integrate Shopify with third-party applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• ▹Translate product, design, and technical requirements into secure, accessible, and performant solutions.
• ▹Use AI coding agents to accelerate delivery while critically reviewing, testing, and owning all generated work.
• ▹Write automated tests, diagnose production issues, and monitor storefront performance.
• ▹Participate in estimation, technical discovery, code reviews, and client-facing solution discussions.
• ▹Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering colleagues throughout delivery.

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience in Shopify Development, ideally with Shopify Plus experience.
• ▹General experience building, launching, and maintaining stores, and general knowledge of the admin system.
• ▹Strong understanding of Shopify 2.0 and working with a made theme and/or the Storefront API.
• ▹Experience with Liquid templating.
• ▹Experience implementing/debugging 3rd party Shopify apps as well as creating custom solutions if necessary.
• ▹Experience with Shopify's objects/properties, the AJAX API, and Meta fields.
• ▹Thorough testing and debugging skills with browser console and external tools.
• ▹Experience developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• ▹Experience working with 3rd party services and APIs, and Shopify-specific plugins.
