Senior Developer Advocate (Video Content Creator)
Elastic, the Search AI Company, is looking for a Senior Developer Advocate focused on video content creation. The role centers on publishing high-quality technical videos about search, AI/ML, and Elasticsearch as a platform, and on building open-source demos and sample applications that show end-to-end Search + AI use cases. As part of the DevRel team, the advocate educates and helps users succeed within the search and AI ecosystem.

Responsibilities
- ▹Publish deep-dive videos that connect search, vector databases, and agentic workflows
- ▹Create high-quality technical videos on search, AI/ML, and Elasticsearch as a platform, covering foundational concepts, advanced use cases, and research trends
- ▹Explore and explain how Elasticsearch integrates with other tools and protocols in the ecosystem (e.g., LLM creators, frameworks, and cloud providers)
- ▹Build open-source demos and sample applications on GitHub that combine Elasticsearch with developer and AI tools
- ▹Prototype and publish sample applications showing end-to-end Search + AI use cases
- ▹Contribute to Elasticsearch Labs, Elastic.co, and the YouTube channel
- ▹Stay up to date with the latest trends in search and AI
- ▹Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on hands-on experience and community interactions
Requirements
- ▹A proven track record of creating highly technical and engaging videos; sharing best work is mandatory in the application
- ▹Strong technical background and experience in an engineering role
- ▹Empathy for the community to help solve their issues and provide internal feedback to improve Elastic's products
- ▹Comfortable working with a highly distributed team
- ▹Experience working self-driven and self-organizing
- ▹Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
