Senior Developer Advocate
Elastic is looking for a Senior Developer Advocate to connect with its global audience through creative, educational and visually engaging content about Search, AI and Elasticsearch. The role is end-to-end: from drafting a social thread in the morning to publishing an infographic and editing a short video in the afternoon, taking ideas from concept to launch without waiting on others. A strong technical foundation is needed, but not a senior engineering background.

Responsibilities
- ▹Create engaging technical content for social media, blogs and YouTube covering Search, AI and Elasticsearch
- ▹Write short-form content such as Twitter threads and LinkedIn posts that distill complex concepts into shareable insights
- ▹Produce simple, high-quality videos and infographics end to end, from scripting and recording to editing and publishing
- ▹Explore new trends in Search, AI and developer tools and translate them into relevant content
- ▹Build demos and examples to support content or highlight the latest research papers
- ▹Add a creative spark to Elastic's content to keep the community engaged and attract new audiences
Requirements
- ▹Solid technical background and experience in an engineering role
- ▹Demonstrated ability to create varied content formats: blog posts, social media threads, videos, infographics
- ▹Comfortable working independently and seeing projects through from idea to publication
- ▹Curiosity and adaptability to quickly pick up new tools and topics
- ▹A collaborative mindset and willingness to share ideas in a fully distributed team
- ▹Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
