A Global Transition Testing Manager role at Unisys leading end-to-end coordination of testing activities during IT service transitions. As part of the ITIL service transition lifecycle, the position ensures new or modified services are fit for purpose, mitigate risk, and deliver measurable value across global projects and enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- ▹Write test plans and identify test resources for internal testing
- ▹Collate and efficiently execute test cases
- ▹Log and track defects to resolution
- ▹Work with Transition Managers to identify UAT testers among clients and build UAT plans
- ▹Conduct test execution progress meetings and defect triages
- ▹Report progress and statistics to inform project decision-making
Requirements
- ▹Minimum 5 years' experience in a Test Manager role leading complex testing initiatives
- ▹Familiarity with enterprise systems and application interdependencies
- ▹Advanced problem-solving with a proactive and analytical mindset
- ▹Ability to assess and prioritize risks to guide test coverage
- ▹Knowledge of project management, quality assurance, and configuration management
- ▹Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement
Nice to have
- ▹ITIL 4 Foundation certification (preferred)
- ▹ISTQB certification or equivalent in software testing (preferred)
- ▹Previous experience in a consulting or costing environment
