Responsibilities
- ▹Participate in the design, implementation and testing of cloud-native Java applications
- ▹Take part in code reviews and architecture reviews
- ▹Work with senior business partners and program management to deliver solutions on time and on budget
- ▹Collaborate with application support teams to ensure timely issue resolution
- ▹Mentor junior team members
Requirements
- ▹At least 3 years of relevant experience
- ▹Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- ▹Solid core Java knowledge and a Java unit testing framework (JUnit 5 or TestNG)
- ▹SQL knowledge and experience with a JPA implementation such as Hibernate
- ▹Microservices experience using Spring Boot, plus Git and Maven/Gradle
- ▹Scripting (Bash, Ksh or Python) for automation
Nice to have
- ▹Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman, Buildah)
- ▹Basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts
- ▹Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting and remediation
- ▹Experience working with Agile development teams at scale
