An Incident Management Reliability Engineer role in Sanofi's Service Quality team in Budapest (hybrid). The role ensures the stability, resilience, and reliability of critical IT services by combining strong incident management expertise with reliability engineering principles to minimize disruptions and drive rapid recovery from major incidents.
Responsibilities
- ▹Lead end-to-end management of Major Incidents (P1/P2) and act as command centre lead during critical outages
- ▹Ensure accurate incident documentation including root cause, timeline, and resolution steps
- ▹Drive post-incident reviews and ensure action items are implemented to prevent recurrence
- ▹Collaborate with service owners to enhance reliability, observability, and fault tolerance
- ▹Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery mechanisms
- ▹Develop and track SLOs/SLIs/SLAs and automate operational tasks with scripts, runbooks, and AIOps tools
Requirements
- ▹8+ years of experience
- ▹Networking technical skills (essential)
- ▹Strong incident management expertise aligned with ITSM/ITIL best practices
- ▹Strong verbal and written communication
Nice to have
- ▹ITIL v4 or Service Operations certification
- ▹SRE Foundation / Practitioner certification
- ▹Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- ▹Incident Command System (ICS) or equivalent crisis leadership training
- ▹Skills in virtualization, cloud, databases, containerization, automation, middleware, and infrastructure as code
