The Betsson Sportsbook AI/ML team is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to make a difference in the design and further development of AI and Machine Learning solutions for both internal and external business needs. The in-house, world-class Sportsbook is growing rapidly, expanding into new markets and as a B2B product.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Maintain and evolve AI/ML projects using Python
  • ▹Build and design Agentic LLM-based solutions and maintain/improve existing ones
  • ▹Ensure output quality by verifying consistency and accuracy
  • ▹Investigate, assess and develop cloud-based MCP solutions
  • ▹Work under an Agile framework (Scrum, 2-week iterations)
  • ▹Troubleshoot and manage incidents with an investigative mindset and creativity
  • ▹Document processes and procedures (creating KBs, runbooks, topology, etc.)
  • ▹Take full ownership of projects and tasks while working within the team
  • ▹Work closely with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely insights to business partners

Requirements

  • ▹Solid experience with Python and OOP
  • ▹Experience with tools like Langchain, Langraph, Langsmith, FastAPI, OpenSearch, Redis/Valkey, Pandas, PyTorch, spaCy
  • ▹Confident with LLMs and their evaluation practices, with background in AI agentic tools, skills and workflows
  • ▹Demonstrated experience with RAG systems, vector embeddings and knowledge graphs
  • ▹Confident with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud environments, with some MLOps experience
  • ▹Familiar with software versioning tools like Git
  • ▹Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • ▹Continuous learning mindset
  • ▹Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects

Nice to have

  • ▹Additional programming skills and prompt engineering
  • ▹Experience in sportsbook/betting or fintech sectors
