Programmatic Advertising Consultant

Backend Developer • On-site • Full-time • 📍 Budapest

DEPT® is looking for a Junior Programmatic Consultant who is 100% enthusiastic about advertising and data and will help take both the client work and the team to the next level. The Programmatic team is part of DEPT®'s EMEA team, with members across Europe. The role manages programmatic campaigns across multiple platforms, optimizes for performance, and provides insights to clients and team members. Location: Budapest, Skopje. Applications must be submitted in English.

Responsibilities

  • Constantly look for the latest developments and opportunities that add value for the customer, and be critical of the work delivered
  • Stay interested in programmatic advertising, data and new technologies
  • Support devising strategies and turn them into best-in-class tactics
  • Support developing a plan that advises the most suitable creatives and how to effectively reach the target group
  • Translate results into insights, advice and new plans, presented clearly at every level
  • Manage programmatic campaigns on DV360 & Amazon DSP, alongside other DSPs, DMPs and ad exchanges if necessary
  • Analyze campaign data to provide insights and recommendations to senior team members and clients
  • Deliver and present work with data-driven insight and analytics, both internally and externally

Requirements

  • Hands-on advertising experience (experience level is flexible — motivation and growth mindset are valued; internships count)
  • Understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including DSPs, DMPs, ad exchanges and key digital formats
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data to optimize and improve campaign performance
  • Experience or interest in working with formats such as display, video and CTV

Nice to have

  • Experience managing campaigns on the Amazon Advertising platform
  • Experience working with other DSPs
