Responsibilities

• ▹Serving as team leader, enabler, and coach, working closely with prospects and customers to improve the team's technical expertise.
• ▹Supporting new team members and ensuring workloads are equally distributed.
• ▹Escalating and identifying issues quickly, coordinating with other team leads and the regional lead.
• ▹Bringing a player/coach mindset, stepping into the field when needed and leading by example.
• ▹Partnering closely with peer sales leaders and driving to revenue targets.
• ▹Working closely with every team at Cloudflare (Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Support) to drive customer success.

Requirements

• ▹15+ years of pre-sales / SE experience in a reputable IT company.
• ▹5+ years of experience as a frontline or second-level SE manager.
• ▹Strong understanding of the Northern European (Benelux/Nordics) market, with a track record of business engagements there.
• ▹Proven track record of business growth and talent acquisition (team building).
• ▹Demonstrable experience in coaching, leadership skills and team management.
• ▹Demonstrable experience solving escalations and team issues.
• ▹Understanding of customers' buying decision process and how to influence it.
• ▹Expertise in internet technologies: OSI Model layers 1-7, BGP, TCP/UDP, DNS (authoritative and recursive), HTTP(S), SSL/TLS.
• ▹Technical curiosity and passion, staying up to date with Cloudflare products and industry trends.

Nice to have

• ▹BSc/MSc or equivalent degree in a technology related field.
• ▹MBA is a plus.
• ▹Experience with a scripting or programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Bash, Go).
• ▹Industry and technology certifications.
• ▹Exposure to emerging trends such as Zero Trust and Serverless computing.
• ▹Experience in cloud project deployments.
• ▹Speaking one other European language in addition to fluent English.

What we offer

• ▹Compensation: for Sweden based hires, estimated annual salary is between SEK 1,342,000 - SEK 1,846,000, including on-target incentive compensation under the Sales Compensation Plan.
• ▹Eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan.
