DevOps Engineer – Cloud Identity & Access Management Engineer

Looking for a DevOps Engineer for the Tolling Services team (electronic road-charging solutions), responsible for IAM development and operating Keycloak on Amazon EKS for international customers.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for Identity & Access Management (IAM), focusing on the ongoing development and management of IAM concepts and systems
  • Deploy, manage, and customize Keycloak in an Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) environment using modern CI/CD tools
  • Support and optimize the Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure (nice-to-have)
  • Develop and implement infrastructure services in a Scrum team applying Infrastructure as Code principles
  • Analyze complex requirements and create seamless solution concepts for the global hybrid infrastructure supporting clients
  • Work in cross-functional teams responsible for full operational ownership of their services
  • Work in an international, self-organized team within an agile organization while striving for personal and professional growth

Requirements

  • Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in teams
  • Solid knowledge and experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) processes, policies, and technologies
  • Proven expertise deploying, managing, and customizing Keycloak in Kubernetes environments (preferably EKS), using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
  • Familiarity with authorization and authentication protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or scripting skills
  • Hands-on expertise in container deployment tools, monitoring solutions (e.g. OpenSearch, Grafana), and database technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL) is advantageous
  • Experience with hypervisor platforms, especially AWS, is a plus
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory environments and PowerShell is a plus

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a SAFe environment
  • German language knowledge
