Responsibilities

• ▹Operate and further develop applications in a virtualized server environment
• ▹Administer and optimize a complex system environment, primarily Linux, complemented by Microsoft technologies
• ▹Deploy applications to production safely and efficiently
• ▹Analyze faults, handle incidents and restore services
• ▹Develop automation solutions (Ansible, Docker, CI/CD pipelines)
• ▹Participate in incident and problem management processes
• ▹Take IT security, compliance and data protection aspects into account
• ▹Create and maintain technical documentation and architectures
• ▹Participate in further development of services

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience operating Linux servers (shell scripting, system configuration, troubleshooting)
• ▹Experience in system integration and support activities
• ▹Programming experience (Java, Python or similar language)
• ▹Good knowledge of automation and deployment (Ansible, Docker, CI/CD)
• ▹Experience with ticketing and knowledge management systems
• ▹Basic knowledge of event sourcing architectures
• ▹Structured thinking and ability to quickly grasp complex systems
• ▹Good communication skills and openness to teamwork
• ▹Responsible, hands-on mindset
• ▹Negotiation-level English

Nice to have

• ▹German at C1 level
• ▹Experience with Apache Kafka, Camunda 8 or Talend DMP
• ▹Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
