Responsibilities

  • ▹Own the technical approach for an initiative: architecture, data model, integration choices, rollout plan, observability and rollback strategy
  • ▹Bring significant architectural decisions to architect review, document them, and revisit if the data proves you wrong
  • ▹Lead AI agents at a staff-level quality bar: prompts, guardrails, evals, tests and review loops so agents ship safe, correct, production-ready code
  • ▹Be fully accountable for agent-authored code, held to the same standard as the rest of the team
  • ▹Collaborate daily with your PM (scope, tradeoffs) and designer (UX, in-tool prototyping), with regular peer collaboration and weekly EM check-ins
  • ▹Own the initiative outcome: present results with your PM 2–4 weeks post-launch
  • ▹Write careful, hand-written code yourself in sensitive areas

Requirements

  • ▹Located in São Paulo, Brazil (the role is tied to this location)
  • ▹Staff-level engineering maturity: make the call, ship the hard thing and stand behind the outcome
  • ▹Ability to see the whole arc: problem framing, technical direction and shipping to production
  • ▹Effectively direct AI coding agents at a senior quality bar
