Expression of Interest - Android Developer
Appic, the digital product development team of Budapest-based Hiflylabs, is collecting expressions of interest from Android developers. The role involves developing native Android applications in Kotlin, building user interfaces, writing unit and UI tests, and participating in requirements definition and task estimation. Candidates need 3+ years of Android experience, advanced English, and hands-on knowledge of MVVM, dependency injection (Dagger 2 / Dagger Hilt), Android SDK, Jetpack and networking with Retrofit/OkHttp.
Responsibilities
- ▹Develop native Android applications
- ▹Design user interfaces and functions as planned
- ▹Participate in the definition of requirements and estimation of tasks
- ▹Write unit and UI tests and participate in developer testing
- ▹Stay up to date with current technology trends in Android development
- ▹Engage in continuous further education
Requirements
- ▹3+ years of experience in Android development
- ▹Advanced proficiency in English
- ▹Knowledge of Kotlin
- ▹Experience with MVVM
- ▹Dependency injection experience (Dagger 2, Dagger Hilt)
- ▹Knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack and Material libraries
- ▹Networking experience (Retrofit, OkHttp)
- ▹REST and Swagger knowledge
Nice to have
- ▹ReactiveX (RxJava, RxKotlin), Coroutines, Flow
- ▹Firebase experience (Crashlytics, Analytics)
- ▹Firebase Cloud Messaging experience
- ▹Experience in writing unit and UI tests
- ▹SOLID and clean code knowledge
- ▹CI/CD, Gradle, detekt, lint rules
- ▹OAuth 2 or social login knowledge
- ▹Play Store and distribution experience
- ▹Experience with other platforms: web, backend, frontend, cross-platform
