Glovo is looking for a Data Analyst II to join its Global Logistics / Rider Experience team, responsible for redesigning, testing and implementing the payment structures that motivate and reward riders worldwide. Blending deep data analysis and modeling with experimentation, your work ensures the logistics network is efficient, scalable and fair, directly influencing KPIs tied to the company's largest operational investment.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Explore and find the most optimal logistics payment structure to maximize global rider engagement.
  • ▹Strategically redesign the courier payment framework, designing models that reward factors like vehicle used, distance, weight and peak-hour availability.
  • ▹Dive deep into massive datasets to identify trends, drivers and opportunities that optimize operational investment.
  • ▹Design, run and analyze experiments (A/B tests, switchback tests) to measure the impact of payment changes before a global rollout.
  • ▹Continuously monitor strategy performance, track KPIs and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • ▹Understand and address local and regional rider needs by taking the rider's perspective.

Requirements

  • ▹Degree in Engineering, Maths or another STEM field.
  • ▹2+ years of experience in a data analytics role translating insights into tangible business actions and measuring their impact.
  • ▹Advanced SQL for complex querying and data extraction.
  • ▹Proficiency in Python for data analysis and data orchestration.
  • ▹Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau or PowerBI.
  • ▹Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, comfortable breaking down ambiguous, complex problems.
  • ▹Ability to clearly explain complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • ▹Fluent English.

Nice to have

  • ▹Experience with experimentation: designing and/or analyzing A/B tests or other statistical testing methodologies.
