Glovo (part of Delivery Hero) is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to help safeguard its digital infrastructure and protect against potential threats. The role focuses on building internal security and compliance solutions, developing policy as code, responding to incidents and analyzing log sources across AWS and GCP environments.
Responsibilities
- ▹Design and build internal solutions to identify and remediate compliance and security failures.
- ▹Develop policy as code, templates and modules to implement and enforce secure patterns and guidance.
- ▹Respond to alerts and participate in overall incident response and on-call response.
- ▹Analyze and understand log sources.
- ▹Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational security requirements.
- ▹Respond to incidents in the cloud environment and ensure all cloud security pipelines and infrastructure remain operational.
- ▹Help create security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines for engineers to consume.
Requirements
- ▹Operational experience with AWS and GCP.
- ▹Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Golang.
- ▹Operational experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- ▹Familiarity with cloud-native security platforms and tools (AWS CloudTrail, AWS Config, AWS Inspector).
- ▹Excellent written and communication skills, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- ▹Proven team player who collaborates well in a team-focused environment.
Nice to have
- ▹Operational experience securing Kubernetes.
- ▹CISSP-ISSAP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty or similar certifications.
- ▹Knowledge of GDPR security and privacy requirements.
- ▹Knowledge of basic security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001).
