Bitpanda is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join its Asset & Liability Management (ALM) team. The role focuses on developing impactful dashboards using Metabase, automating ALM reporting processes, and building efficient scripts for data queries and transformations. You will play a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making for the ALM function by designing scalable data solutions and visualizations.
Responsibilities
- ▹Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Metabase for ALM reporting and analysis
- ▹Automate ALM reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of critical reports
- ▹Write efficient, scalable scripts (Python, SQL, etc.) to extract, clean and manipulate large datasets from various sources
- ▹Collaborate with ALM analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- ▹Ensure data accuracy, consistency and availability for downstream applications and reporting
- ▹Optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance and reliability
- ▹Implement version control and documentation for dashboards and scripts
Requirements
- ▹3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering or BI Developer role
- ▹Strong proficiency in SQL, Python and working with large datasets
- ▹Proven experience building and deploying dashboards in Tableau and Metabase
- ▹Understanding of financial concepts and blockchain fundamentals
- ▹Experience with ETL tools, workflow automation and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- ▹Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team with strong communication skills and attention to detail

- ▹Experience with AWS and Snowflake as cloud platforms
