Data Analyst - Customer Risk Lifecycle

N26 is seeking an organised and self-motivated Data Analyst embedded in the Banking Foundations (Customer Risk Lifecycle) team, including a focus on the AFC Operations function. You will enable your product and business segment to make data-driven decisions by monitoring, measuring and analysing the effectiveness of initiatives and helping drive segment strategy. Working in a cross-functional setup with analysts, engineers, designers and product managers, you establish a data mindset and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear and measurable targets based on an initiative's scope and improve forecasting and goal-setting capabilities
  • Be the internal go-to person for data-related questions in your teams
  • Support product experimentation and testing: design test plans, obtain cross-functional alignment, run robust analysis and deliver actionable insights
  • Contribute to the self-serve data platform by pairing with technical peers
  • Build the dashboards your team uses weekly to track impact on company OKRs
  • Improve data literacy through function-led training and team-wide workshops
  • Collaborate with analytics teams across N26 to leverage shared platforms and insights
  • Support product discovery, identifying user friction points and business opportunities
  • Evaluate continuous releases via experimental or observational methods
  • Collaborate with UX researchers to combine qualitative and quantitative research
  • Ensure data needed for future evaluation is captured through tracking events or backend services
  • Drive quantitative analysis and insights for your segment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the Product or Analytics field
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods for experimental and observational data
  • Highly experienced with SQL and Python/R for analytics
  • Experience with one or more common data visualisation tools (Tableau, Metabase, Looker, Superset, etc.)
  • Good presentation and communication skills
