Solutions Architect - PreSales
As a Solutions Architect at Elastic, you will serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor to the sales team, customers, partners, and community. You will solve customers' business issues with the Elastic Stack, engage the regional Elastic community through events and programs, and enable sales through partners. Success in the role means a focus on excellence and continuous learning while questioning the status quo. Fluency in German is essential, and the role involves around 30% travel within the region.

Responsibilities
- ▹Serve as the technical point of contact for your accounts and account managers in your assigned territory
- ▹Develop a deep understanding of customers' goals and articulate how Elastic's offerings address their needs
- ▹Create and own value-based relationships at all levels in customer organizations
- ▹Actively participate in all phases of planning and execution for your territory, from initial discovery to the technical win
- ▹Maintain a deep understanding of Elastic products and solutions and demonstrate their value in sales meetings and at events such as meetups and conferences
- ▹Advise the sales team on effective ways of positioning Elastic products, solutions, and services
- ▹Onboard, educate, and enable partners, and support them in sales cycles
- ▹Create collateral, contribute to programs, and collaborate with colleagues to meet individual client needs
- ▹Be the voice of the customer and community, communicating needs, gaps, and enhancements to engineering and leadership teams
- ▹Deepen your sales and technical skills through self-driven education and professional development opportunities
Requirements
- ▹A track record of success in a technical presales role within enterprise accounts, with enough experience selling and implementing technology to earn customers' trust
- ▹Demonstrable ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software, and technologies
- ▹A real passion for curiosity and continuous learning, investing in yourself and your professional relationships
- ▹A history of successful customer relations, devising architectures that helped meet a goal, tackle a problem, or outpace competitors
- ▹An ability to influence and to inspire groups both large and small
- ▹Fluency in German is essential
- ▹A willingness to travel 30% within region, as well as occasionally internationally
