HelloFresh's Client Platform squad in Warsaw is looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to work on the mobile and web apps as platforms. The customers are the internal feature teams who rely on these platforms to build and deliver the features that power the digital experience across all HelloFresh Group brands and markets, used by millions of customers globally every day. You will help feature teams iterate fast and continuously improve the code base, systems, and processes.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Work on a team focused on mobile and web development, interfacing with virtually all feature teams in the tech organization
  • ▹Enable feature teams to iterate fast and learn about users by planning, building, testing, and launching features
  • ▹Collaborate with engineers across the department and company to continuously improve the code base, systems, and processes
  • ▹Design and develop solutions that can continue to scale
  • ▹Support other team members through workshops, pair programming, and code reviews

Requirements

  • ▹Solid hands-on experience with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) beyond casual experimentation, used as thought partners to onboard on unfamiliar codebases
  • ▹A practical sense of how the context you provide to AI tools shapes output quality, with habits around verifying, testing, and setting boundaries on AI-generated work
  • ▹At least 2-3 years of hands-on work with React Native
  • ▹A minimum of 5 years working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • ▹Proficiency building component-based architectures using React.js and Node.js
  • ▹Deep understanding of integrating frontend and backend services seamlessly
  • ▹Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and solid testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end)
  • ▹Strong collaboration skills with engineers, product management, and UX designers
