Doctolib is looking for an Engineering Manager to join the Automation Platform (AUTOP) team, which empowers all Doctolib engineers to build, test and deploy software with confidence and speed. As part of the Platform organization, you will lead a team of 6 engineers owning critical developer-facing systems - CI/CD, testing infrastructure, development environments and release automation - that every feature shipped at Doctolib flows through.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Build and lead a high-performing team of 6 engineers passionate about developer productivity
  • ▹Recruit, mentor and retain top platform engineering talent and run impactful 1:1s, performance reviews and career development
  • ▹Define and drive the technical vision for the team's domain (CI/CD, testing infrastructure, developer environments or release automation)
  • ▹Make high-impact technical decisions balancing short-term delivery with long-term scale and sustainability
  • ▹Champion a 'Platform as a Product' mindset, measuring adoption and developer satisfaction and iterating on feedback
  • ▹Drive measurable improvements in developer productivity metrics (build times, deployment frequency, test reliability, DORA)

Requirements

  • ▹Experience leading and building high-performing platform/infrastructure engineering teams
  • ▹Strong technical foundation in CI/CD automation, testing infrastructure and developer tooling
  • ▹Ability to set a high bar for automation, quality, reliability and security for systems 800+ engineers depend on daily
  • ▹Experience working with a hybrid architecture: a large Ruby on Rails monolith plus modern microservices (Java, Kotlin, TypeScript)
  • ▹Familiarity with the stack: Ruby, Java, Kotlin, Go, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes and GitHub Actions
  • ▹Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through influence rather than authority
