Senior Platform Engineer, Dashboard Platform

Algolia, a market leader in AI Search, is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer for its newly formed Dashboard Platform team in Paris (remote-friendly). The role focuses heavily on infrastructure automation, building services and tooling that enable fast, autonomous deployment for all engineering teams and a great Developer Experience. You will lead projects autonomously and orchestrate changes across teams.
Responsibilities
- ▹Be a key contributor to the operation and deployment of all Dashboard Platform features
- ▹Build new services powering the infrastructure platform using Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS
- ▹Build tooling, features and guidelines that improve Developer Experience
- ▹Take ownership: research, explore and deliver world-class developer experiences
- ▹Collaborate with developers to support adoption of the team's tools
- ▹Share knowledge on software engineering, testing and deployment best practices
Requirements
- ▹Good knowledge of modern infrastructure management with Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform on cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc.)
- ▹Significant experience in a similar senior infrastructure/backend role
- ▹Rigor in high code quality, automated testing and engineering best practices
- ▹Strong care for Developer Experience
- ▹Well-spoken and written English skills
- ▹Familiarity with AI coding agents
Nice to have
- ▹Experience with Go and Ruby on Rails
- ▹Knowledge of modern web development (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML & CSS)
- ▹Experience at companies in the 10,000+ customer, $50-200M ARR, high-growth stage
