Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Dashboard Platform

In Algolia's Dashboard Platform team, you help empower all developers to ship frontend features to the customer-facing Dashboard at scale, with a consistent customer experience. As a Senior Backend Engineer with a heavy focus on infrastructure automation, you lead projects autonomously, plan ahead, and orchestrate changes across projects and teams. You join a newly formed team of two senior engineers and one manager, based in Paris but open to remote work.
Responsibilities
- ▹Be a key contributor to the operation and deployment of all Dashboard Platform features
- ▹Build new services powering the infrastructure platform using Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS
- ▹Build tooling, features and guidelines that contribute to a great Developer Experience
- ▹Take ownership, research, explore and deliver world-class developer experiences
- ▹Collaborate with all developers to support adoption and usage of the tools
- ▹Share knowledge on software engineering, testing and deployment best practices
Requirements
- ▹Good knowledge of modern infrastructure management with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform on cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc.)
- ▹Familiarity with AI coding agents
- ▹Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
- ▹Strong care for Developer Experience
- ▹Well-spoken and written English skills
- ▹Experience at a comparable company stage (over 10,000 customers, $50-200M ARR, high growth)
Nice to have
- ▹Experience with Go and Ruby on Rails
- ▹Knowledge of modern web development (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML & CSS)
