Responsibilities

  • ▹Design and develop scalable, resilient, message-driven services in Java for user verification pipelines
  • ▹Write clean, correct code with high test coverage in an event-driven microservices architecture
  • ▹Integrate global KYC providers, video-identification services and AML screening databases
  • ▹Optimize backend systems to minimize user friction while maintaining regulatory compliance
  • ▹Collaborate with Product Managers, Compliance Officers and security experts to adapt to regulations

Requirements

  • ▹Solid professional experience in backend development with Java and modern frameworks like Spring Boot
  • ▹Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases
  • ▹Practical knowledge of message-oriented middleware, specifically Apache Kafka
  • ▹Experience creating, securing and maintaining publicly available REST APIs

Nice to have

  • ▹Hands-on experience with Postgres and MongoDB
  • ▹Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines
  • ▹Public cloud experience, preferably AWS and Kubernetes
