Senior Golang Software Engineer - AI Services
Redis AI Services is on a mission to accelerate the world's transition to AI-native systems, providing high-performance, developer- and agent-friendly services that make LLM and agentic workflows faster, more efficient and easier to scale. As a Senior Engineer, you will design and ship memory and context capabilities for next-generation chatbots and AI agents, owning architecture, implementation and production deployment. You will also mentor emerging talent and partner closely with the AI Research team on roadmap and technical direction.
Responsibilities
- ▹Evolve the AI Services platform in collaboration with AI research, product and cloud infrastructure teams, turning Redis AI offerings into robust, customer-ready services
- ▹Lead the design and development of a new set of cloud services and AI-driven features, ensuring scalability, reliability and performance
- ▹Drive innovation by experimenting with cutting-edge AI technologies and frameworks
- ▹Own architecture, implementation and production deployment with a high bar for quality, performance and operability
- ▹Coach and grow emerging talent through code reviews, pairing and technical mentorship
Requirements
- ▹6+ years developing backend components and cloud services
- ▹Strong background in software design and architecture for scalable, fault-tolerant systems
- ▹Proficiency in one or more back-end languages: Go, Java, Python or similar
- ▹Deep understanding of CI/CD and deployment tooling (e.g. Argo CD, Kubernetes, Terraform)
- ▹Experience practicing and establishing AI-assisted coding processes
- ▹Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Nice to have
- ▹Experience productionizing AI/ML systems, including model serving or AI-driven features
- ▹Experience building and orchestrating AI agents with modern agent frameworks (LangGraph or equivalent)
- ▹Experience with Redis and its ecosystem
- ▹Contributions to open-source projects in distributed systems, data infrastructure or AI tooling
