
Customer Success Architect
Mixpanel is hiring a Customer Success Architect who partners with customers throughout the customer journey — from pre-sales proof-of-concepts demonstrating quick time to value, to post-sales onboarding and implementation with scalable implementation and data governance best practices. You consult customers on maximizing the value of Mixpanel, including change management during rollout, defining and achieving ROI, and identifying improvements in their analytics usage. For large enterprise customers, you continue alongside Account Managers to drive data trust and product adoption for 100+ end-user teams via a change management approach. Hybrid position.
Responsibilities
- ▹Serve as a trusted technical advisor for prospects and customers on data architecture, governance, instrumentation and business outcomes
- ▹Communicate across most levels of the customer's organization to influence outcomes, design and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy and unblock technical and organizational roadblocks
- ▹Own the customer's success with Mixpanel, documenting and delivering ROI throughout their journey
- ▹Own onboarding and data health for assigned customers and projects, including ongoing data quality and tech stack integration improvements
- ▹Engage customers' engineering, product management and marketing teams for technical onboarding, deployment optimization and data trust
- ▹Deliver technical services ranging from data architecture consultations to adoption and change management best practices
- ▹Create scalable data governance practices and data trust, including data optimization and re-implementation projects
- ▹Execute on success outcomes while balancing project timelines, scope creep and unanticipated issues
- ▹Bridge the technical-business gap: define a strategic vision with business stakeholders and execute it with the right contacts
- ▹Collaborate with technical and solutions partners on data optimization and onboarding projects
- ▹Act as technical sponsor internally with Mixpanel product and engineering teams to prioritize client-driven product and systems tasks
Requirements
- ▹Experience consulting on defining and delivering ROI through new tool implementations
- ▹Experience working with Director-level customer stakeholders to define and deliver a strategic vision
- ▹Ability to communicate with stakeholders at most levels — from API details with developers to organizational efficiency with a Director of Data Science/Product Management
- ▹Ability to manage complex projects with assorted client stakeholders across teams and departments
- ▹Demonstrated record in customer success, client-facing professional services, consulting or technical project management
- ▹Excellent written, analytical and communication skills
- ▹Strong process and/or project delivery discipline
- ▹Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving customer needs
Nice to have
- ▹Experience in data querying, modeling and transforming in at least one core tool (SQL, dbt, Python, BI tools, Product Analytics tools)
- ▹Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses such as Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Databricks
- ▹Familiarity with product analytics implementation methods such as SDKs, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Event Streaming, Reverse ETL
- ▹Familiarity with analytics best practices across business segments and verticals
- ▹Fluency in additional languages
