The company is growing fast and is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Product team. You would work on a broad range of SaaS application development areas and be assigned to the right team based on your skills and technology interests.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Develop and maintain SaaS software systems in production across areas such as web, mobile, infrastructure, performance, UI/UX, integrations and API development
  • ▹Apply Agile methodology and test-driven development as part of the daily workflow
  • ▹Work with a technology stack of Rails, Node, Python and Java apps based on PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis and Elastic, deployed on Kubernetes and GCP
  • ▹Contribute to areas ranging from the core application to mobile/tablet applications, integrations, natural language processing, data science and video technology

Requirements

  • ▹A minimum of three years of full-time industry experience developing and maintaining production software systems (preferably with Ruby, Node, Python or Java)
  • ▹Strong background in relational database theory and excellent knowledge of relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
  • ▹Familiarity with NoSQL storage (MongoDB, Redis, Elastic, etc.)
  • ▹Firm grasp of multi-threading, object-oriented design and asynchronous programming
  • ▹Skilled in unit and integration testing
  • ▹BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • ▹Passion for web technologies
  • ▹Fluency in both Greek and English

Nice to have

  • ▹Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks
  • ▹Knowledge of state-of-the-art information security practices
  • ▹Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • ▹Experience with Amazon AWS or Kubernetes
  • ▹Experience with Elasticsearch in a production setup
