Responsibilities
- ▹Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and pipelines for Linux-based open-source software
- ▹Write and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites
- ▹Collaborate with developers to define testability requirements and integrate tests into CI/CD workflows
- ▹Identify, document, and track software defects and drive timely resolution
- ▹Develop and maintain test infrastructure, including virtual machines, containers, and Linux environments
- ▹Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve software quality
Requirements
- ▹3-5 years of hands-on experience in software test automation focused on Linux-based environments
- ▹Proficiency in a scripting or programming language such as Python, Bash, or Go
- ▹Proven experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks (e.g., pytest, Robot Framework)
- ▹Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- ▹Familiarity with containerization and virtualization (Docker, QEMU, or similar)
- ▹Solid knowledge of Linux internals, system administration, and command-line tooling
