Proton seeks a Frontend Engineer for the Inbox team to develop its most vital services, including Mail and Calendar. The role requires a customer-centric, continuously learning engineer who turns technical complexity into seamless user experiences, working with a JavaScript/TypeScript/React stack on open-source, encrypted clients.
Responsibilities
- ▹Take end-to-end ownership of application development projects, including scoping and prioritization
- ▹Foster a culture of innovation by exploring new technologies, methodologies, and approaches to web development
- ▹Design for scalability, considering data caching, network bandwidth, and server load
- ▹Implement solutions to monitor and alert the team about the state of Inbox web clients
- ▹Continuously seek feedback and iterate to improve the user experience
Requirements
- ▹Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
