Senior Solution Architect (Pre-sales)
Elastic is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect (pre-sales) in the United Kingdom to serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor to its sales team, customers, partners, and community. You will solve customers' business problems with the Elastic Stack, build value-based relationships, and drive the sales cycle from discovery to the technical win, working with some of Elastic's largest enterprise clients. The role involves roughly 30% travel within the region and occasional international travel.

Responsibilities
- ▹Serve as the technical point of contact for some of Elastic's biggest enterprise clients
- ▹Develop a deep understanding of customers' goals and articulate how Elastic's offerings address their needs
- ▹Create and own value-based relationships at all levels of customer organizations
- ▹Participate in all phases of territory planning and execution, from initial discovery to the technical win
- ▹Demonstrate the value of Elastic products in sales meetings and at events such as meetups and conferences
- ▹Advise the sales team on effective positioning of Elastic products, solutions, and services
- ▹Onboard, educate, and enable partners and support them through sales cycles
- ▹Create collateral and collaborate with colleagues to meet individual client needs
- ▹Relay customer and community needs, gaps, and enhancement requests to engineering and leadership teams
Requirements
- ▹A minimum of 4 years of success in a technical presales role, selling, demonstrating, and implementing technology to earn customers' trust
- ▹Experience with at least one of the following is a must: enterprise search, observability, or cybersecurity
- ▹Experience working within the enterprise sector and understanding its unique challenges
- ▹Demonstrable ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software, and technologies
- ▹A genuine passion for curiosity and continuous learning
- ▹A history of successful customer relations and of devising architectures that helped meet goals or solve problems
- ▹An ability to influence and to inspire groups both large and small
- ▹Willingness to travel 30% within the region and occasionally internationally
- ▹Business-level fluency in English

- ▹Experience with cybersecurity or observability is a strong advantage
