A Technical Business Analyst role at Morgan Stanley supporting the requirements and execution of the technical redesign and strategy of a Wealth Management banking platform. The role requires fluency in Spring, databases and Java development tools, and regular interface with internal IT, BA, QA and global development teams to deliver creative, integrated solutions.
Responsibilities
- ▹Document business and functional requirements, business rules, User Stories and Epics
- ▹Analyze business processes across multiple business units and document data requirements for banking products
- ▹Create documentation outlining data lineage and a data governance framework
- ▹Become a subject matter expert for banking product data and assist data consumers and development teams
- ▹Lead Business Requirements from elicitation to process flow mapping and drive JAD sessions
- ▹Create, maintain and groom the Product Backlog, writing User Stories with acceptance criteria
Requirements
- ▹2-5 years of relevant experience
- ▹Minimum BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- ▹Fluency in Spring, databases and database interface layers
- ▹Familiarity with associated Java development tools
- ▹Understanding of the banking technology landscape
