A Business Analytics Strategist role at Morgan Stanley focused on the Fixed Income business, using technology and data skills to deliver data insights and key business metrics. Working closely with Business Management, the role helps set and track strategy by collecting data, building attribution models and metrics, and creating tools to distribute insights across the organization.

  • ▹Work with large and complex datasets to derive impactful insights for business decision-making
  • ▹Communicate with Business Management, Traders, Strats and Technologists across divisions
  • ▹Assist in driving business planning and strategy and executing key priorities
  • ▹Assist in preparing presentations for senior management on pipeline, metrics and initiatives
  • ▹Assist development of web-based management reporting tools and review capital and returns for transactions

Requirements

  • ▹Degree in a quantitative or technology area such as Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science
  • ▹Solid problem-solving and math foundations
  • ▹Good programming skills in Python or another language
  • ▹Interest in Data Analytics and the financial industry
  • ▹Advanced communication skills in English
