Responsibilities

  • ▹Guide cross-functional teams in designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes
  • ▹Work with advanced automation, process control systems, and manufacturing equipment
  • ▹Manage projects from initial concept through validation and handover
  • ▹Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations, and external partners on process automation and equipment installation
  • ▹Ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and maintain system readiness
  • ▹Support the development of junior engineers and resolve complex hardware, software, and process challenges

Requirements

  • ▹Advanced degree plus 6 years, or Bachelor's plus 8 years of experience in pharma/biotech manufacturing or a related regulated industry
  • ▹Expertise in automation systems and control platforms (Rockwell FactoryTalk, AB PLCs, DeltaV)
  • ▹Strong project management skills for complex, large-scale initiatives
  • ▹Experience with cGMP regulations and manufacturing compliance
  • ▹Proficiency in engineering documentation (URS, FRS, IOQ, validation protocols)
  • ▹Proficiency with engineering software tools (AutoCAD, MS Project, Visio)

Nice to have

  • ▹Preferred fields of study in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering
  • ▹Experience with capital project planning, execution, and financial management
  • ▹Experience with data integrity principles and audit compliance
  • ▹Ability to work in cleanroom environments
