Linear is building the product development system for teams and agents, and is hiring a Developer Relations professional to close the gap between what Linear can do and what people think it can do. The person in this role will live inside the product, discover the most compelling use cases for Linear's AI agent, demonstrate real workflows teams can adopt, and share those stories in whatever format works best, from a tweet to a video, blog post, or live conference demo. Think of it as a product-obsessed marketer who is genuinely technical and communicates with depth. Linear is remote-first, with this role open to candidates in the US and Europe.
Responsibilities
- ▹Deeply understand Linear's product, especially its AI agent and newer capabilities, and continuously discover real-world use cases teams would care about
- ▹Create content that demonstrates those use cases, whether short-form social, blog posts, video walkthroughs, or live demos
- ▹Build relationships with engineering and product-focused creators and collaborate on content that feels authentic rather than sponsored
- ▹Work with the video team to produce technical product content with genuine depth
- ▹Partner with support, sales, and product on developer-facing documentation and educational content
- ▹Stay plugged into conversations on X, in newsletters, and at events, ensuring Linear has a voice in the ones that matter
Requirements
- ▹Technical understanding: you get code, understand how software is built, and can talk about it credibly
- ▹Deep product intuition; thinks in workflows and use cases rather than features
- ▹Comfortable on camera and on stage, able to demo a product, record a walkthrough, or speak at a conference naturally
- ▹Twitter/X savvy, able to participate credibly in relevant conversations
- ▹Curious and self-directed, already finding the next interesting topic and following the right people
- ▹Able to create video content end to end, scripting, recording, and editing a product walkthrough independently
