Enterprise Mobility (National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car) is hiring a Vehicle Service Agent for immediate openings at its Hatillo (Puerto Rico) location. The Service Agent ($10.75/hr) cleans vehicles inside and out, performs preventive maintenance (no mechanical service), moves vehicles, and carries out other tasks assigned by the supervisor - all safely and quickly.
Responsibilities
- ▹Clean and disinfect the vehicle interior according to Complete Clean Pledge standards
- ▹Vacuum and prepare the vehicle interior according to Complete Clean Pledge standards
- ▹Wash, clean and dry the vehicle exterior (cars of various sizes, as well as vans and trucks)
- ▹Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect the windshield for damage; reset/restore vehicle settings to clear previous customer data
- ▹Search for customer items, place anything of value in the Lost and Found, and verify the registration is present, current and matches the plate
- ▹Check fluid levels and top up as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect the exterior for damage
- ▹Fuel and prepare the vehicle
- ▹Inspect the vehicle for safety issues; report warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; remove the vehicle from prep processing if necessary
- ▹Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
- ▹Use the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure cleaning, detailing, washing and disinfecting supplies are available
- ▹Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
- ▹Help maintain the overall appearance of the site (desks, counters, phones, floors, trash, restrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the parking lot and other daily cleaning tasks)
Requirements
- ▹Must be at least 18 years of age
- ▹Must hold a valid (not expired) Puerto Rico driver's license
- ▹Driving record must have no more than 2 violations and/or accidents in the last 3 years
- ▹Driving record must have no DUI or DWI in the last 5 years
- ▹Authorized to work in the United States without requiring work visa sponsorship now or in the future
- ▹Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including weekends
