System Administrator – Backend Tools Services, T Cloud Public

Responsibilities

• ▹Solve complex challenges in the day-to-day operations of a hyperscaler's cloud backend, focusing on backend tools services
• ▹Work hands-on at the console, not afraid to get your hands "dirty"
• ▹Jump straight from insights to action working directly with the technologies that power the platform
• ▹Turn operational know-how into real impact by joining project rollouts and helping launch new features and tools
• ▹Drive end-to-end automation using industry-standard automation frameworks
• ▹Collaborate in a team of specialists where open communication, trust and mutual support are the norm

Requirements

• ▹Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject, or comparable professional training
• ▹3-5 years of hands-on IT experience with a strong focus on modern cloud technologies (upgrades, patches, lifecycle management, bug and incident management)
• ▹Good Linux knowledge, basic OpenStack knowledge and IT security fundamentals
• ▹Fluent in written and spoken English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform, APIs or similar)
• ▹Using at least one automation cloud tool such as Cloud Scope or CodeArts Light
• ▹Experience with OpenStack and contributions to open-source projects
