Responsibilities

• ▹Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyperscaler's cloud backend
• ▹Work hardware-oriented at the console and get hands-on with the systems
• ▹Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance
• ▹Consistently automate with common automation frameworks
• ▹Work in a team of specialists where everyone helps each other openly and with trust

Requirements

• ▹Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject, or comparable professional training
• ▹Knowledge of scripting in Python
• ▹5-7 years of professional IT experience with a focus on modern cloud technologies
• ▹Very good knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, and physical networks
• ▹Extensive knowledge of infrastructure automation
• ▹Strong experience in Linux (3-5 years) and network-related services
• ▹High level of customer focus
• ▹Knowledge of agile development processes
• ▹Ability to assess technical solutions and come up with creative approaches
• ▹Fluency in written and spoken English

Nice to have

• ▹OpenStack and programming experience in open-source projects
• ▹German nice to have
