Senior Architect Backend - T Cloud Public

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, operate and further develop OpenStack-based network services on the T Cloud Public platform, closely with vendors and internal experts
• ▹Plan and drive automation initiatives using modern frameworks
• ▹Enhance the platform's network architecture with a strong focus on IT security and robustness
• ▹Work closely with specialists across Deutsche Telekom Group on public cloud and open-source topics
• ▹Prepare technical materials, present architectural concepts, advise management
• ▹Act as senior architect within an agile squad, mentoring and supporting colleagues
• ▹Perform hands-on console work to validate architectural decisions

Requirements

• ▹Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific field, or comparable professional training
• ▹Minimum 7 years of professional IT experience with a focus on modern cloud technologies
• ▹Very good knowledge of software, cloud and container architectures
• ▹Experience in infrastructure automation
• ▹In-depth knowledge of Linux, system tools and network-related services
• ▹Strong customer orientation
• ▹Knowledge of agile development processes
• ▹Mentoring and presentation skills
• ▹Ability to assess technical solutions and develop creative approaches
• ▹Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have

• ▹OpenStack and programming experience in open-source projects
