Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze and research cloud-native tools and frameworks to design innovative GCP solutions
• ▹Support the T-Systems Public Cloud Product Management Team based on customer and market feedback
• ▹Contribute to the implementation of cloud solutions, automation and service improvement using Google Cloud technologies
• ▹Participate in technical workshops and pilot/proof-of-concept projects
• ▹Collaborate with senior architects and engineers to review client workloads and provide technical support
• ▹Assist in client proposals and presentations from pre-sales to implementation
• ▹Support the review of existing customer environments, identify improvements, plan cloud migrations
• ▹Build and customize automated cloud-native solutions using IaC tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager
• ▹Contribute to the solution portfolio: templates, new features, technical documentation
• ▹Collaborate with DevOps teams and support troubleshooting in cloud-based environments

Requirements

• ▹A degree in Computer Science, IT or a related technical discipline
• ▹5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or cloud solutions (internships, part-time or academic work count too)
• ▹Foundational knowledge of GCP and key services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Firebase)
• ▹Familiarity with modern software development in Python, Node.js or Java
• ▹Fundamental understanding of cloud networking, automation and security practices
• ▹Strong English communication skills; German is a plus

Nice to have

• ▹Google Cloud Certification: Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect
• ▹Knowledge of hybrid cloud connectivity (e.g. VPC, Cloud VPN, Load Balancers)
• ▹Experience building distributed systems or microservices applications
