Lead Mobile Developer - React Native
Formlabs is seeking a seasoned Lead Mobile Developer in its Budapest office to define and build mobile applications that transform how users manage, track and engage with their 3D printers. The role involves delivering brand new mobile applications, guiding foundational technical decisions, and developing features end to end in close collaboration with experienced product managers. Candidates need 5+ years of professional mobile development with React Native, hands-on experience with both native (iOS/Android) and cross-platform development, and a portfolio of delivered mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- ▹Build and deliver brand new mobile application(s)
- ▹Guide foundational technical decisions
- ▹Apply modern software design processes, tools and testing methodologies to deliver robust, high-quality software
- ▹Write highly maintainable and well-tested code while developing features end to end
- ▹Contribute to improving the architecture and code quality of the application
- ▹Work closely with experienced product managers to implement and launch features that address customer needs
Requirements
- ▹BSc degree or equivalent in Computer Science
- ▹5+ years of professional mobile application development with React Native experience
- ▹Hands-on experience with both native (iOS/Android) and cross-platform (React Native) development
- ▹High degree of autonomy, with the ability to make complex product and architectural decisions and confidently justify them to leadership
- ▹Excellent collaboration skills across departments (Product, Design, Cloud, Hardware, QA)
- ▹A portfolio of captivating and relevant reference projects of delivered mobile applications
