Expression of Interest - IT Security Expert (contract)
Hiflylabs, a Budapest-based team of 250+ data and tech enthusiasts, is looking for an experienced IT Security Specialist for a part-time or project-based contract engagement, fully remote. You will conduct security reviews and design secure architectures for data-driven and AI-powered systems across AWS, Azure, and GCP, perform threat modeling with a focus on LLM and AI model vulnerabilities, and support compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, and the EU AI Act.

Responsibilities
- ▹Conduct security reviews and design secure architectures for data-driven and AI-powered systems, including cloud environments on AWS, Azure, and GCP
- ▹Perform threat modeling with a strong focus on data security and vulnerabilities related to LLMs and AI models (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications)
- ▹Assist projects in meeting regulatory and compliance requirements, including GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, and the EU AI Act
- ▹Participate in client discussions, clarify security requirements, and ensure proper documentation of security-related decisions and controls
Requirements
- ▹At least 4-5 years of relevant IT security experience
- ▹In-depth knowledge of cloud security architectures and best practices
- ▹Solid hands-on experience with data protection and data security technologies, including encryption, data masking, and access management
- ▹Ability to work independently and adapt effectively to a dynamic SME environment
- ▹Professional working proficiency in both English and Hungarian
Nice to have
- ▹General/management certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
- ▹Cloud/technical certifications: CCSP, AWS Certified Security, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer
- ▹AI/data security certifications: CIPP/E or specialized training related to AI Security, LLM Security, or AI Governance
