Forto, a logistics company harnessing AI to build transparent, frictionless and sustainable digital supply chains, is looking for an intern to join its Workplace Technology team. In this role you support Forto colleagues with all their IT needs, whether at the Berlin office or remotely across Europe, while learning new skills and participating in major projects to improve the employee experience. The position is a six-month full-time internship.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Deploy Windows 10, macOS, and iOS devices.
  • ▹Provide IT support for employees throughout Europe using Jira Service Desk.
  • ▹Help administer cloud apps and maintain meeting rooms.
  • ▹Escalate issues with suppliers and vendors as required.
  • ▹Produce concise and professional documentation in Jira Confluence.
  • ▹Support various Workplace Technology projects and OKRs.

Requirements

  • ▹Fluent English.
  • ▹Solid knowledge of Windows or macOS and a basic understanding of IT network infrastructure.
  • ▹A problem-solving mindset with the ability to find solutions to previously unseen issues.
  • ▹Attention to detail, focusing on quality over quantity.
  • ▹A fast learner who quickly adapts to unfamiliar situations.
  • ▹Enjoys interacting with non-technical people and explaining difficult things simply.
  • ▹Availability for six months of full-time work.
  • ▹Hardware and network troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

  • ▹Previous experience in corporate IT support.
  • ▹A relevant IT certification (CCNA, CompTIA A+, ITF+, or Network+).
  • ▹German language skills.
