Senior Solutions Architect
MongoDB is looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Architect for its Stockholm-based hybrid team. In this role you guide customers – from startups to the largest enterprise IT organizations – in designing and building reliable, scalable systems on MongoDB's data platform. You work closely with sales executives, act as a trusted technical advisor, and play a key role in winning deals and driving the business forward.
Responsibilities
- ▹Design scalable, performant applications, systems and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging MongoDB
- ▹Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies, and articulate MongoDB's business value to stakeholders
- ▹Partner with the sales team on account planning, opportunity qualification and pipeline generation, owning technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentations and sizing
- ▹Proactively generate demand in the territory through technical initiatives, trade shows and account-based marketing events
- ▹Build strong customer relationships and champions to ensure customer success and satisfaction
- ▹Continuously innovate and improve MongoDB solutions, relay field feedback to product teams and mentor other Solutions Consulting members
- ▹Engage in ongoing training to stay current with the MongoDB product suite and industry trends
Requirements
- ▹Ideally 8 to 11 years of related experience in a customer-facing role, with 5 to 7 years in pre-sales of enterprise software
- ▹Minimum 3 years of experience with modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#)
- ▹Experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem
- ▹Ability to review complex architecture of existing applications and advise on improvements
- ▹Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- ▹Ability to strategize with sales teams on a multi-threaded account strategy
- ▹Willingness to travel up to 25%
- ▹Based in Stockholm for the hybrid working model
Nice to have
- ▹Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with major cloud providers
- ▹Experience with database programming and data models
- ▹Experience in data engineering or AI/ML projects
- ▹Experience transforming legacy systems into modern, scalable technology stacks
- ▹Understanding of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC / Command of the Message
- ▹MongoDB Certification
- ▹Cloud Provider Certification
